Fernando Pulidori Award
The “Fernando Pulidori Prize” (Fernando Pulidori (1928-2007)), at its 7th edition, will be awarded to a young researcher, author of an original paper published during 2012-2014 or accepted for publication at the dead time of application.

Candidates should be not more than 35 years old on December 31st 2014 , PhD
students or grantees at a University or Research Centre.

Candidates should present a copy of the paper in PDF format together with a
curriculum vitae and summary of scientific activity (maximum two pages) in PDF,
DOC, or DOCX format.

Applicants must register online first, and then e-mail the required documents to the organizing committee (ismec2014@unipv.it) before March 31st, 2014.

The Scientific Committee of ISMEC2014 will evaluate the scientific impact of the paper, its originality and innovative character in the field of thermodynamics and kinetics of complexes in solution, and evaluate the significant contribution of the applicants to the research.

The Scientific Committee decision will be announced on April 30th, 2014.

The young scientist who is given the award will take part at ISMEC2014 with the registration free of charge, will receive a monetary prize of 200 €, and will have the chance to present the winning work at the award ceremony. An extended abstract of that work will also be published in “La Chimica e L’industria”, the official journal of the Italian Chemical Society.

Matteo Bertero Award

The “Matteo Bertero Prize” (Matteo Bertero (1993-2014)), will be awarded to 3 young researchers on the basis of their poster presentations.

Candidates should be not more than 35 years old on December 31st 2014 , PhD students or grantees at a University or Research Centre.

Candidates should present: a curriculum vitae and summary of scientific activity (maximum two pages) in PDF, DOC, or DOCX format, together with an abstract of a poster presentation for ISMEC 2014, in the field of thermodynamics and kinetics of complexes.

Applicants must register online first, and then e-mail the required documents to the organizing committee (ismec2014@unipv.it) until April 15th, 2014.

The Scientific Committee decision will be announced on April 30th, 2014.

The awarded young scientists will take part at ISMEC2014 with the registration free of charge, will receive a monetary prize of 100 €, and will have the opportunity to present their posters at the awarding ceremony.
